Learn with the County  - Adult Community Programs

Peoria County Government is pleased to offer “Learn with the County” educational classes taking place at area libraries, ICC North, and County facilities. Peoria County employs experts in fields such as law enforcement, emergency preparedness, death investigation, recycling and resource conservation, the tax cycle, and the election process. Staff members will share their knowledge with residents through these free community classes, and participants will have the chance to ask questions and participate in some instances.

Classes are for ages 18 and older. All classes are from 6-8 pm unless otherwise indicated.

Sustainability for the Entire Community

Peoria County is a leader in sustainability, to the benefit of all residents and visitors in our region. The County's Recycling Educator will describe local government efforts to conserve resources and preserve our environment for future generations. Participants in this workshop will learn specific actions they can do at home and work to improve economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
